Happy September. I'm excited to announce the sign up for the annual Color of Love Blog Hop, hosted by Love Bites and Silk, Kiru Taye, Empi Baryeh, and Nana Prah. The hop will be held from November 27 - December 6th. That's ten whole days of blog hopping. We're looking forward to it and I hope you are, too. Note that since this event is about celebrating interracial and multicultural romance novels, your book needs to feature at least one main character who is a person of color.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Color of Love Blog Hop. It’s that time of the year where we celebrate our love for characters of color in romantic fiction in the Color of Love Blog Hop. To be honest interracial and multicultural romances are similar to those not in these sub-genres. People are people, no matter where they are from, or what they look like. We all want to be loved, and this has been reflected in every romance novel I've ever read. But... it's those subtle differences between cultures and races that puts an extra twist on a story. I love learning about new cultures while reading. It saves me travel expenses and time. I appreciate it when I can relate to the characters in a romance on a deeper level because they are just like me. Most of all I like the way everyone mixes in these stories. Love crosses all barriers.
A plethora of cultures can be found in my latest release. Considering that most of the characters are being deported, there are some very interesting conversations. For a sweet romance things get heated between undercover agent Sarita and prison guard Matt.
Bloggers/Writers, you're invited to participate in the Color of Love Blog Hop which runs from December 4-8. This event is co-hosted by Love Bites and Silk, Empi Baryeh, Kiru Taye and Nana Prah.
Last year we gave away over $300 worth of prizes in gifts and ebooks. It was so appealing that I wanted to enter the draw, but my co-hosts told me no. For this hop we're celebrating romance books featuring characters of color either in multicultural or interracial settings/relationships. We hope you'll join us and sign up on the linky list HERE.

Defending her family – no problem. Recalling past
lives – maybe just a small problem. Taking a chance on love again – well…
Sean finds it impossible to stay away
from Jasmine even though he can’t shake the inexplicable feeling of betrayal,
simmering deep inside him every time he sees her.
To complicate things, someone is out to
hurt Jasmine and every time she and Sean are together, the police have to be
called. Even if Jasmine can make Sean trust her, the two of them may not stay alive
long enough to enjoy their love this time around.
I'll be honest, sometimes when I think of our wonderful Color of Love Blog Hop I think of the group Color Me Badd. If you don't remember them, here's their music to listen to (I chose a wildly appropriate song) while you read through my 4 reasons why you should participate in the Color Me Badd- oops, Color of Love Blog Hop.
1. You' ll gain exposure to blogs you may have never had the chance to encounter 2. A chance to show your book or blog off to the world, or at least those wonderful readers and buyers who stop by the blog hop 3. Prizes. Who the heck doesn't like to enter for a chance to win prizes? 4. It's a blog hop (I was trying to avoid writing Duh! but couldn't resist). Sign up now for the blog hop and have some fun. Did you see how I sneaked in a fifth reason? I'm tricky like that sometimes.
