The
song reminds me of the kind of support that only good friends and family can
give. A good friend is always on your side, no matter how stupid or irrational
you are being. She’ll agree with you and then she’ll talk you back down to
rational. And she is always on your side. Always! It’s just what good friends
do. When it’s raining she’ll share her umbrella, bitching at you the whole time
because you were the dumb ass who didn’t bring an umbrella after she told you
it was going to rain.
I’m sending out a huge shout out to all of
my friends who have supported me in my life, past and present. Especially to the ones who refused to shake
loose even after my transatlantic journey. Thanks for sharing your umbrella when
I needed it. No names will be mentioned, you all know who you are.

Such a nice thought. True friends are extremely hard to find especially the kind that you mentioned here. My personal favorite is the Friends Jingle!

DeleteGood song. My friends and I have shared many, many songs over the years, at the moment I cant think of one that stands out. Except I remember when we were all turning 18, and Alice Coopers song 18 was our theme song at the time.
