I love a goatee, in books, in movies and in
real life. No I take it back. I love a goatee when combined with a mustache. I
kid you not, in my fugly filtering eye even the ugliest man can become
attractive if he is sporting a goatee/mustache combination.
I
have thought about it a lot and I can’t figure out what makes me so gaga about
the facial hair. I don’t really like mustaches alone, and I can mostly leave a
beard. So it’s not just having facial hair that does it for me, it’s
specifically the goatee/mustache combination.
The
weirdest part about it is that it looks good on all races. Can you imagine?

yes! I do like goatees. They are awesome (especially on Johnny, but then everything looks good on Johnny...)

DeleteSome are nice, but most look like to me they justtttt can't quite commit. Grow hair, don't grow hair??? I must prefer a beard. Of those you pictured, Johnny's looks the worst. He looks messy. The best one is the last one.

I never thought about a goatee as a non-commitment, That's interesting. The last one's goatee is full, a total commitment.
DeleteI'm not really into facial hair. Some guys look really good in goatees - look being the operative word here. Cos kissing a goateed mouth is a different matter altogether - especial African men with the kind of tough hair they have...

DeleteI agree with the person who commented first: Everything looks good on Johnny. In addition, I'd say that my fave picture of my husband is his California driver's license from about 1990, in which he had a goatee & mustache. He looks so bad-ass! By the time I met him, he'd shaved the goatee, and I've never convinced him to grow it back. Oh well...

DeleteDepends on the man. Colin and Shemar, OK. Most of the time I like my men clean shaven. The heroes in my novels end up that way too. I'm having a little cultural trouble with my current hero, a samurai. He does want to shave his beard but doesn't want to shave the crown of his head. :-D
