Let me break down the cover because just like a coat of arms there is a meaning to each element (mostly).
1. Purple is a color that represents spirituality
2. Stars represent time
3. The two shooting stars represent Sean and Jasmine's movement through time together
4. The trees represent where they met in this present lifetime
5. The water represents life (and a funny scene in the novel)
6. I wish I could say the reflection of the shooting stars represents something, but I can't. Jenn with her artistic eye added it making the cover look that much more fantastic
Thank you Jenn for taking my vision and making it a reality.
Congratulations on getting your debut book cover. It's great that it looks exactly the way you wanted it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kiru.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Nana. I'm so proud of you. This is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks Celestine. You just made my day.
DeleteGreat cover, Nana. I will be the first to admit that the cover does a lot for me in a book. If it's really relevant to the story within, I find myself taking a peek every now and then. And one of my motivations for wanting to complete my next project is that I want to see the book cover (shhhh)
ReplyDeleteKudos. We're waiting for the announcement of the release date!
Thanks Empi. The book cover is exciting.
