H is for Happy - #atozchallenge

One if the many things I noticed when I first came to Ghana was how happy the people are. No we are not rich, we don’t have continuous electricity, yes we have bouts of violence, yes our educational system could be better, and no we are not perfect by any definition of the word. But we are happy, not because of the circumstances we find ourselves in, but because of who we are.

It’s the truth as I see it.
Since I can't show you all of the people of Ghana, here are a couple of personal pictures.
She can brighten anyone's day.

25 Ways to Be a Happy Writer (Chuck Wendig)

I was talking to my friend recently about what makes a person happy in life and here comes Chuck Wendig with his awesome blog Terribleminds posting about 25 Ways to Be a Happy Writer (Or At Least Happier).

I'm sharing his post.  Go over and see if any of the twenty five things he suggests resonates with you, and if they do apply them and make yourself happy, or at least happier, with your writing.
My favorite (if I was forced  to choose one at gunpoint) is:

21. MAKE NO EXCUSES
We tell excuses to other people as if they’re reasons, but we know the truth: it’s just some nonsense we say to absolve ourselves of the sin of not doing the shit we were supposed to do. Every excuse uttered is another squirrel nibble out of our happiness. Soon your excuses amount to a whole swarm of squirrels. They’ll make short bitey work of your self-worth.
