Celebrate the Small Things - 11/12/13

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

  • This week was better than last week and that alone is enough to celebrate.
  • I'm mostly finished with my second round edits for my book Midwife to Destiny to be release early next year by Decadent Publishing. Editing is hard, but worth it!
  • I'm in a Christmas anthology, A Touch of Winter, that is being released tomorrow by Black Opal Books. Yay!

  • The date on Wednesday was 11/12/13 (11th December, 2013) and this made me giggle as I wrote it on the board for my students.
  • After being sick for three weeks I'm feeling better and started my exercise program again. I love exercising.

What are you celebrating this week?

  7. Glad you're feeling better, Nana. I'm celebrating 1.) living at the beach in California even during a cold snap, 2.) finding out my tooth does not have to be pulled--it's a sinus infection!, and 3.) having my young adult horror story, Death House, get accepted for publishing. Woo hoo! Check out my story, "Christmas After All" in A Touch of Winter and I'll check out yours. Merry Christmas!
