Vikki at Scribblings
of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we
are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.
This week I’m celebrating:
1. My birthday month. If you don’t know what
that means to me then click here.
2. I taught this week. I love
teaching. I'm not looking forward to the day when the students realize they don't have to laugh at all of my jokes.
3. I did a beta read for ‘Nana’s Novella’- not
really the title, but I harassed the author (Debbie Christiana) about it so much that she temporarily
named it after me. It is the sequel to Twin Flames, which I loved. All I can say is watch out people, this novella is amazing.
4. Once again no violence was applied to anyone by my own hands- I will always count that as something to celebrate.
I wish I could say that I was celebrating a
holiday, or two, like people in another country, which shall remain nameless,
but it starts with a U and end with an S.
How was your week?
Let’s check out what other people are
celebrating for the week?
LOL - Glad you didn't harm anyone.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get a holiday this week either.

Sorry you didn't get to celebrate the double holiday.
DeleteGood to know you didn't hurt anyone. Some weeks, that'a about all you can celebrate. No holidays here either, so you're not alone.... I think it'll be January before that happens for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't have to wait four months for a holiday. What about Christmas?
DeleteSo 'Nana's Novella' didn't fly with Debbie?? A month of birthday wishes is a great idea. And people around you are fortunate that your fists didn't go flying!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletelol, Cathy. Debbie didn't think it captured the essence of the book, go figure.
DeleteI had to name it Nana's Novella or she wouldn't be able to brag about not using violence, LOL - Just kidding, it was my pleasure, she's such a fan of the characters it was the least I could do... and she's a great beta reader if anyone needs one :)
ReplyDeleteOne was a federal holiday one was a religious holiday so not everyone got the 2nd one, but it was nice to have a short week. Seems you enjoyed yours, too, Nana - I'm glad.
You are too funny, Debbie. Thanks for the explanation about the holidays. I don't feel as jealous now.
Deletelol I hope the kids keep on laughing at your jokes ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd hey not hurting anyone is real good reason to celebrate... right along with a birthday month!
Thanks S.K. I hope the students keep on laughing, but do well in the class too.
DeleteGood for you for not losing your temper! Have a good weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lara. A temper is one of those things that is better not to share.
DeleteBirthday month and not losing your temper sound like good celebrations!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are, Vikki.
