Muscle Bound All the Way and $5 Amazon GC Winner Announcement

A friend asked me why I like guys with muscles. I hadn’t realized I spoke so highly of them. Wait, that’s a bold faced lie. I talk about them all the time. I love to look at them. Heck I almost married a guy who pumped iron with me and was pretty much obsessed about his muscles (not the reason we didn’t get married).

I favor muscular men because I know how much work they go through to get in such good shape. It takes dedication, time, self discipline and lots of energy to get there.

I’m as soft as cotton candy on the outside, but I’ve built my muscles up over the years. Yes I’m a strong soft looking lady, but I know how much work it takes for someone to look powerful, buff and downright delicious.

So excuse me if the rest of the post features pictures of half dressed men with loads of muscles. They make me happy. What's your preference. (all pictures taken from Google.com images).

By the way I'm on Susana's Morning Room today answering my single most favorite author interview question. Stop by if you have a moment. You'll have the opportunity to win a $20 Amazon gift card, doesn't that sound as enticing as these muscle men? Okay, no, but come anyway.

And now for the moment some of you have been waiting for. The winner of the $5 Amazon gift card from the Winter Wonder Man Blogfest as chosen by Random.org, is:

                               Marissa A.

Congratulations Marissa. I'll be sending over your gift card through your e-mail.

Winter Wonder Man Blog Hop

I’m excited to be part of this blog hop sponsored by H.D. Thomson which will be running from January 16th - 19th. I’m giving away a $5 Amazon gift card to one lucky person who leaves a comment.

For the hop we were asked to answer this question : “What makes a hero in movies and books wonderful to the point your toes curl?”

One of my favorite movies (and books) is The Princess Bride. At first I fell in love with farmboy Wesley’s whole “As you wish” thing. He was so sweet and loving towards Buttercup. But that’s not the curl my toes part.

After being on the high seas as a pirate Wesley came back a yummy alpha male. Able to drink poison, beat an expert at swordplay, fell a giant, and cheat death all for true love (not 'to blaith'). He left Buttercup as a weakling and returned a hero. For me it’s the transition that makes a hero so – mmm mmm good. Him becoming more than he was to reach his full potential. This makes my toes curl.

Yes, I’ll add that if he’s tall, muscular and handsome, it a plus.

Who is one of your favorite hero’s in a book or movie?
