Celebrating the end of Midwife to Destiny book tour #giveaway

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we're celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki. It's not too late to sign up if you're interested.

Happy Friday everyone. My whole week is worth celebrating.

1. I saw the new X-men movie. Hugh Jackman's naked tush, loads of action, and time travel, made for a fabulous movie.

2. Remembering my connection to everything. It hit me that life is one big puzzle, and the things that happen shape what the picture will look like in the end. I could almost feel the click of pieces this week.

3. Cupcakes. No pictures because I wolfed them down too quickly, but yummy!

4. The end of my blog tour. It's been a wonderful month going around to blogs I've never encountered before through the fabulous promotion of Love Bites and Silk. Engaging with commenters is fun, but I'm glad it's almost over. Tomorrow is the last day to enter to win a $25 Amazon gift card so remember to enter.

Blurb

Ghanaian nurse Aurora ‘Ora’ Aikins never expected to find the love of her life while on vacation in South Africa. Engaged to another and believing that love has no place in her life, she returns to Ghana, and puts duty and honor first.

Three years later, Dr. Jason Lartey still can’t get Ora out of his mind or his heart. After learning she never married, he takes a risk and moves to Ghana hoping to rekindle what they started. His sudden appearance in Ora’s Emergency Department sends sparks flying all over again.

They’re in the same country, working in the same hospital, and together but distance creeps between them. Can they make their destined love one for the ages?

  9. Congratulations on your Blog Tour. I've no doubt it was amazing, and probably exhausting too. :) Thank goodness I didn't see any pics of the cupcakes. Eventually I would've broken down and had to buy some. I love cupcakes; I have such a sweet tooth. Have a great weekend and don't forget to unwind. Eva

  10. Congrats on all your celebrations! It's probably best that you couldn't post any cupcake pics; you'd just make people hungry and jealous! ;)

  11. I see lots of celebrations - the cupcakes (there's something so enjoyable about a cupcake: the deliciousness of a cake, the whimsical size and decoration, and the brief but intense taste. What struck me, though, is the sense of pieces of a puzzle falling together. I've encountered that once or twice, and it makes me pause, step back and think, 'Wow...'
Here is hoping you have many more 'wow' moments!

  13. Okay, Hugh Jackman's naked tush? Now really drooling as I wait to see this!!! Don't want to do the sub-title thing here in Ecuador so will be buying the DVD when it comes out. ;)

Thanks for popping by my blog and dropping a comment!
