G is for Ghana #atozchallenge

This one is obvious for those of you who know my blog. This is the best country in all of Africa just because I came from here. My new book Midwife To Destiny released by Decadent Publishing is set in Ghana (and a little in South Africa). Here is a picture of one of the beaches I went to visit a few years ago. It’s not the same one that Ora and her cousin Esi hold their party at, but it would have been a nice place to boogie down. I had a lot of fun looking through my old pics.

I'm standing in front of the National Theatre in downtown Accra

Paragliding event during Easter in Kwahu
I'm pointing to Elmina Castle
Me looking good at the paragliding event, but not actually paragliding- the ground is too far below.

A beautiful sunset in Accra
So many pictures I've taken (mostly of me), so little time to share.

My latest release is set in Ghana and South Africa.

Blurb

Ghanaian nurse Aurora ‘Ora’ Aikins never expected to find the love of her life while on vacation in South Africa. Engaged to another and believing that love has no place in her life, she returns to Ghana, and puts duty and honor first.

Three years later, Dr. Jason Lartey still can’t get Ora out of his mind or his heart. After learning she never married, he takes a risk and moves to Ghana hoping to rekindle what they started. His sudden appearance in Ora’s Emergency Department sends sparks flying all over again.

They’re in the same country, working in the same hospital, and together but distance creeps between them. Can they make their destined love one for the ages?

  5. Ghana looks lovely. That pointing photo is really clever and fun. Before reading your blog I only knew where Ghana was, and that it was English speaking.

  9. Wonderful photos. I had to laugh as I would have been with you watching the paragliding but not doing it. I'd be way too chicken for that.

  10. You're very lucky to live in such a beautiful place as Ghana. Africa is such a big, diverse continent, and so interesting. I'm enjoying all your posts. Could you put a picture of Mr. Boris Kodjoe at the end of each post, just um... because we all like to look at him : -D
