S is for Samini

One of the first songs I heard when I came to Ghana was by Batman Samini. He now goes by Samini. I saw him once at the bus station. I wasn’t sure if it was him or not so I went around asking female strangers if the man was Samini. Nobody was rushing to get his autograph or anything. They just let him go about his business. I wanted to ask him for his autograph, but I didn’t. Darn it I should have.
