Celebrate the Small Things

This week I would like to celebrate my day off from work. Technically, I told my boss I was working from home on Wednesday. Don't tell her but the work I did was minimal. I wrote a whopping 206 words on my W.I.P., so writing was a bust too. I admit that I spent a whole lot of time on social media. Naughty Nana (smiling all the day long).
I didn't get much of anything done, but it was a fantastic day. The next day when I went back to work I was highly productive. Sometimes you just have to play hooky.

I'm off to see what other people are celebrating. Click to check out the linky list.

  1. Oh yeah! Playing hooky or what I used to call it was a mental health day. We all need a time to relax the brain. Have a great weekend, Nana!

  5. 200 words would be a very good day for me, writing-wise. Yay for playing hooky! Now that I'm good at! :-)
