Can’t find myself in a romance novel

Call me conceited, but I want to read about a romance book heroine who is just like me. Physically and with a personality just like mine. I’ve been reading romance books since high school and have yet to say that a heroine in a book is ‘me.’

I think I'd make a fantastic heroine. Chocolate brown skin, down to earth, loves to laugh, cute, awesome smile, loves nature, middle class working woman with aspirations, intelligent, faith filled, weird (but loveably so), chubby, smart ass, overeater of carbs (especially chocolate), friendly, slightly gullible, can kick ass but has never had to, likes adventure as long as it doesn’t interfere with her schedule (a little anal retentive).
I may have to write a book with me as a heroine. Sounds a little self appreciating, or conceited, I know, but it’s one of those things that probably needs to be done, right up there with bringing about world peace.

  1. it's not conceited it's only normal. I have read a novel with you as the heroine, though. It was called 'the Bridget Jones Diary'

    1. I'm laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes. You are actually right, but she wasn't chocolate brown, and she couldn't kick ass. Laughing again. Thanks Korkor.
