Celebrate!

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we're celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki. It's not too late to sign up if you're interested.

This has been a light week which is one of the things I'm celebrating. No drama.

I've found a blog which I absolutely love and have applied two things I've learned from her. Fabulosity Reads.

My closest friend is the bestest (intentional spelling) person in the whole wide world. The best specimen of a human being God could have ever created. She rocks. Not that I'm just learning that, but it's always good to shout it out from the rooftops every once in a while.

Mustn't forget free internet for three days. Good times.

Just in case you've missed my Love Through Time blog tour for the past few weeks, here's an opportunity to join in the rafflecopter event. You still have two weeks to catch me on tour (I'd love to say that while holding a guitar that I can actually play).

Celebrate the Small Things

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki. It's not too late to sign up if you're interested.

This was an interesting week. Started off well, had some turbulence, but then had a flawless landing.

Anybody who's ever watched the fantastic show Charmed would remember them always saying "Our powers are tied to our emotions." That was my theme for the week. My emotions were bleak for a couple of days for no apparent reason bringing my writing to a standstill. But I'm back.

Four main things to celebrate
1. Being happy (again)
2. Meeting up with a long time friend after over a year
3. I won a $50 Amazon gift card from a blog tour for Compromising Miss Tisdale by Jessica Jefferson  and I bought the book - double bonus for me - I do love buying book.

4. Meat. Damn I love eating meat.

Celebrate the Small Things - 11/12/13

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

  • This week was better than last week and that alone is enough to celebrate.
  • I'm mostly finished with my second round edits for my book Midwife to Destiny to be release early next year by Decadent Publishing. Editing is hard, but worth it!
  • I'm in a Christmas anthology, A Touch of Winter, that is being released tomorrow by Black Opal Books. Yay!

  • The date on Wednesday was 11/12/13 (11th December, 2013) and this made me giggle as I wrote it on the board for my students.
  • After being sick for three weeks I'm feeling better and started my exercise program again. I love exercising.

Blog Hop Celebration

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we're celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

Waiting for the Color of Love Blog Hop to arrive reminded me of the excitement I used to feel at Christmas when I was a child. I was giddy. And now that it's here, I'm even giddier and that has made my week.

So this week I'm celebrating a successful blog hop which is going on until November 25th, so stop on by to enter to win some fantastic prizes, I'm talking loads of Amazon cash and e-books.

As of yesterday Love Through Time was #111, 834 on the Amazon list. My $0.99 sale has really lifted me up. I look forward to even smaller numbers.

On a more personal note, it's official everyone. I'm happy. Yeah, that's all there is to that.

Let's see what others have to celebrate this week.

Celebrate The Small Things

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

I turned in my first round to my Decadent Publishing editor, earlier than her deadline and then started working on another novel. I'm a writing machine these days. Just call me Nana Evanovich.

My foul mouth did run amok a couple of times this week. I'm not sure if I'm celebrating it or not.

Celebrating What Is To Come.

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

Today is the first day of November. This week I'm not celebrating what has happened, but what is yet to come. I'm expecting fantastic things for this month. For no particular reason other than I'm alive and healthy to enjoy it so I will.

Bring on November. There's no winter in Ghana so I'm ready for you.

Celebrate the small things. This week it's gigantic.

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

I have done something stupendous this week. I am so proud of myself that I may dislocate my shoulder with all of the pats to the back.

My friend challenged me to go without sugar for seven days. I could have honey, but that was it. No sugar and no processed treats. I'm happy to announce that today I have completed the challenge. Yay, me!

How do I feel, you ask (whether you did or not)? It surprised me that my emotions (meaning temper) were stable. I thought I'd be going nuts with the need for sugar, but I was wrong. I don't feel super fit or anything, but I feel okay.

Holiday! Celebrate!

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

Soooooo many things to celebrate this week.

1. The Fall into Fantasy Giveaway has started and I'm super duper excited.

2. I'm reading Betrayal's Shadow by KH LeMoyne. S*^t, this woman can write.

3. Celebrated a Muslim holiday on Tuesday. My poor students must think I don't like spending time with them because I raised my hands up in victory when they told me there was a holiday coming up.

4. I showed my friend how to load books onto her Kindle. Nothing like sharing the gift of knowledge to make people spend more of their hard earned cash. But how could I not. Books!

5. I bought apples instead of chocolate yesterday. For those of you who know me, that's a huge deal.

6. Wrote a 2000 word short story that is unlike anything I've ever written before. Now for the editing.

7. Loving life.
