This week I'm sharing from my hottest to hit the streets release
this week, Ambitious Seduction. Backdrop: Kamilla and Leonardo are in competition
for the coveted partner position that’s opened up. The firm is asking them to
work together to keep a company on the brink of leaving them.
Kamilla pasted on her fake grin. The kind that didn’t set her eyes
twinkling as she touched her palm to her chest. “I beg to differ. I would
appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with Mr. Astacio. He’s been nothing
but an exemplary inspiration over the years and I believe we’ll work well
together, as we have previously, to keep Singleton Financial with our firm.”
Couldn’t they see her teeth gritting as she lied through them?
“Thank you so much for considering me,” she continued. “His reputation
precedes him and it’s always a learning experience working by his side.”
A cough of surprise escaped Leonardo as he
realized she’d gotten the drop.
