Crystal Collier has a new release out and I’m happy to help spread the word through this wonderful blog hop cohosted with Pk Hrezo, Tammy Theriault, and Michael Di Gesu .

Crystal's publisher is offering a $2.00 coupon until February 14th for anyone who wants to claim it. Don't forget to use the coupon code.

In the English society of 1768 where women are bred to marry, unattractive Alexia, just sixteen, believes she will end up alone. But on the county doorstep of a neighbor’s estate, she meets a man straight out of her nightmares, one whose blue eyes threaten to consume her whole world—especially when she discovers him standing over her murdered host in the middle of the night.

Her nightmares become reality: a dead baron, red-eyed wraiths, and forbidden love with a man hunted by these creatures. After an attack close to home, Alexia realizes she cannot keep one foot in her old life and one in this new world. To protect her family she must either be sold into a loveless marriage, or escape with her beloved and risk becoming one of the Soulless.

So here's the question: If you lived in a society where arranged marriages were a la mode, whom would you beg your parents to set you up with? Why? (Literary characters and celebrities welcomed.)

Crystal hit us with a question that I couldn’t resist answering.
But then I sat down to write the answer and I became overwhelmed with all of the wonderful choices. We’re going to pretend my family practices polyandry and sets me up with three men.

Ryan Reynolds came immediately to mind. He’s cracked me up ever since I first saw him in Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place. Funny, rich and handsome until death do us part.

Batman Samini (a Ghanaian singer). For years I've claimed him as mine to anyone who would listen. He’s hot, energetic and can keep me dancing all the days of our lives.

Sean Taylor, the hero from my novel Love Through Time. This man was made to love me (if Jasmine, the kick ass heroine, didn’t exist). I’ve added a picture of Daniel Sunjata, but it’s really my Sean. He’s intelligent, funny, handsome, a fantastic kisser, brave, and oh yes rich. He’s a little hot headed and stubborn, but all of his other wonderful qualities overshadow those.

  3. Bwa-ha-ha! Oh my. Hotties who have humor and brains? Yeah, I'm totally on board. Actually I married my hubby partially because of his sense of humor. (A lot because of his sense of humor.) A guy has to keep you laughing, right?

  9. Love your choices!! A HOT guy (let's face it, Ryan Reynold's is HOT), a guy that will keep you dancing (LOVE to dance), and an intelligent, funny, brave studmuffin (love a guy who makes me laugh). Now if only we could figure out how to combine ALL of those qualities into the perfect specimen. : )
