Down and Dirty with @NanaPrah #multicultural #romance #giveaway

Yes you read correctly. I’m interviewing myself. We all have that alter ego that we wish we could expose. Well here I am. Since most people don’t read the entire blog post. I’ve highlighted the words that will grab your attention. Note that after asking myself the question, I will not parry with a witty comeback. That would be weird.

If you could blog like anyone on the blogosphere who would it be?
Definitely Chuck Wendig. He says it like it is, all the time. I’d love to be able to do that. I kind of treat the blog like I live my life. I'm kind and attempt to offend no one, but I take no s^*t.

Upon meeting your favorite author, what one thing would you tell them?

I have more than one favorite author, but I’ll choose Janet Evanovich for this one. I’d smile (which is irresistible) and say, “Let’s write a novel together. You can relax, though. I’ll do all the work, you slap your name on the cover and let the sales roll in.”

Where do you find your greatest source of support?

I wish I could say my friends and family, but I took a vow of honesty and refuse to break it. Basically other authors provide the most support to me. Helping to make my books better and promoting them. Not to say my friends and a few family members haven't been awesome, but it's rare.

There are millions of books for people to purchase. Why should they choose yours?

My romances take the reader places they’d never think to go. Romance in Africa? Who would have thought it? Past life experiences through a young woman who experiences them through daydreams in Love Through Time? What?

My stories are similar to others yet unique in their perspective. Pick one up and test my theory. I double dog dare ya.

Can you please tell us what the word PITA means in the world of nursing?

My nursing colleagues may find and maim me for revealing this. It means Pain In The Ass. If you ever hear it referred to you, you need to assess yourself and make some changes in your behavior.

Living in Ghana, have you learned to speak any of the local languages?

Nope. English is the official language of the country. I was raised in the US. English rocks! Besides, do you know how hard it is for an older woman like me to learn a new language?

Your first two novels are sweet, in the sense that they have no sex in them. Why?

I was scared about writing a sex scene. What would my friends and family think? The next book in the Destiny series has sex in it. I gave up caring about what others would think and went with what would be best for the characters.

If you could hypnotize the world, what would you have people do?

Live in a state of perpetual peace and love. Oh yeah, and buy my books.
