This week I'm sharing from Healing His Medic (The Protector
Series, Book 1).
“I don’t understand how you can’t see how exceptional you are.”
He whispered in her ear.
“If you had known them—”
He spun her around, keeping his hands on her upper arms. “I know
you. I’ve experience your glowing personality and have had the chance to be
touched by it.” He shook his head. “I don’t know why you were left behind. But
I’m not sorry you were. You have so much to offer the world. Your work is not
done. Deep down, you know it. Otherwise you wouldn’t have been the strong woman
standing before me today.”
Soft lips pressed against her forehead and the dam of tears
broke like they hadn’t in years.
“Let it out, princess. I’m here for
you.” Akin rocked, and rubbed her back while she wept.

The Blurb
Doctor Comfort Djan is looking for salvation after a

navigating uncharted personal waters may be the least of their problems when
confronted with bold pirate attacks and other vicious unknown dangers onboard
the frigate. And when Comfort's life gets on the line, Akin knows he will do
anything to save his medic and heal her battered heart in the process.
