Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we're celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki. It's not too late to sign up if you're interested.
Although I'm not in the best mood right now, it's not affecting my celebration (Damn it!).
This was a good week.
1. Met up with a good friend. Ate, drank, and laughed. I went home a little on the tipsy side. Since I'm on a lifestyle change kick I opted to have my calories in the form of this make-your-eyes-cross red velvet cake (Two slices, but don't shake your head in disappointment).
By the way that's not water in the glass. Think fizzy alcohol. Yum. More calories, but laughter burned most of them. |
3. Been getting along fabulously with my father.
4. The Covergasm blog hop was so much fun. Today is the last day so head on over to win some prizes.
Sounds like a good week, Nana. (I miss my Father) Good Luck and enjoy your last semester!!
ReplyDeleteIt was, Cathy. Sorry about missing your dad.
DeleteNana, are you back in school? Good to know that. Watch that slice, sister mine.
ReplyDeleteILol. I was too busy eating it to watch it, Celestine.
DeleteCongrats on being so close to your Master's - that's great! And what's life without something sweet now and again? My view is life is short so enjoy it now!
ReplyDeleteI am total agreement, Lexa.
DeleteIt's always fun to spend time with friends. Especially when cake is involved :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful combination.
DeleteHa, laughter is the best way to burn those calories.
ReplyDeleteLol. I'll have this conversation with my scale the next time I'm on it.
DeleteSounds like a pretty good week to me!
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful.
DeleteCongratulations on nearing the end of the journey to your Master's degree!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Felicia. It's a lot of work.
DeleteSounds like a great week. Hopefully the writing was the therapy you needed to get over the bad mood/
ReplyDeleteI was in a better mood once I finished the post. Writing is wonderful.
DeleteSo glad you had a good week, Nana! Lots of nice things happening so you can celebrate them.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deanie.
