F is for Famous African Hollywood Actors and Actresses #atozchallenge

There is no country that starts with F in Africa. So here are some pictures of some famous African actors.

I couldn’t post them all here, but you can find more here:

All images taken from Wikipedia.com

Boris Kodjoe – I gasped when I read that his father is a Ghanaian physician of the Nzema people. Half of that yuminess comes from my country. Huge smile (both his and mine).

Djimon Hounsou- was born in Benin. I wish I could claim him as Ghanaian too.

Charlize Theron – Don't be too surprised that she's from South Africa. We Africans come all different shapes sizes and colors.

Liya Kebede - from Ethiopia. Okay she's a model, but she's so pretty and from my continent.

From Bing.com

Lupita Nyong'o, whose parents are from Kenya, is a superstar now that she's won an Oscar.

This is a gigantic blog hop so click here to see what other bloggers are discussing for this letter. Have fun.

  1. Nice to know! Charlize Theron didn't surprise me...the only South Africans I've ever met were both blonde with peachy skin.

    1. Wow. Whenever I think African, even South African, it's not her complexion that pops into my mind.

  18. Maybe you could stretch and call Burkina FASO the F country... but kinda sorta too late for that, eh? Thanks for the education. Gorgeous collection of actors. This is my first visit here from A to Z... I like to let Twitter Twirl and deliver me some new A to Z blog posters... and this was a definite SCORE!

Happy Wednesday and A to Z!
