There is no country that starts with F in Africa. So here are
some pictures of some famous African actors.
I couldn’t post them all here, but you can find more here:

Boris
Kodjoe – I gasped when I read that his father is a Ghanaian physician of the
Nzema people. Half of that yuminess comes from my country. Huge smile (both his and mine).
Djimon
Hounsou- was born in Benin. I wish I could claim him as Ghanaian too.
Charlize
Theron – Don't be too surprised that she's from South Africa. We Africans come all different shapes sizes and colors.
Liya Kebede - from Ethiopia. Okay she's a model, but she's so pretty and from my continent.

Lupita Nyong'o, whose parents are from Kenya, is a superstar now that she's won an Oscar.
This is a gigantic blog hop so click here to see what other
bloggers are discussing for this letter. Have fun.
Nice to know! Charlize Theron didn't surprise me...the only South Africans I've ever met were both blonde with peachy skin.
ReplyDeleteWow. Whenever I think African, even South African, it's not her complexion that pops into my mind.
DeleteDjimon and Charlize are my favourites. Congrats to Lupita on winning the coveted golden statue.
ReplyDeleteLupita has done well. We hope to see more great things from her in the future.

ReplyDeleteStopping by on the A to Z Challenge.
You have a good eye for cute men, Sabrina.
DeleteInterestinly, I don't know of a single one of these famous Africans. I wouldn't mind knowing the first one, he's quite attractive :)
ReplyDeleteLol. I don't think anyone would mind knowing him, Rhonda.
DeleteI had to compose myself after ogling Mr. Kodjoe for about 20 minutes. Oh my - swoon ;)
ReplyDeleteLupita is absolutely lovely!
Lol. And because of you I made sure he had clothes on, Debbie.

I was surprised myself, Madeline.
DeleteAwesome! I had no idea there were so many, and especially so many I'd recognize. (After checking out the links.) That's pretty epic.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it though. I find it interesting.
DeleteA little off-topic, but I can't believe I never "officially" followed your blog, when I read it all the time, especially the Celebrate the Small Things posts. So now I am an official follower ....
ReplyDeleteIt's weird. I just went to check if I've followed you. I hadn't. All rectified.
DeleteHello, Boris!
ReplyDeleteI know the other ones in the list are all great (and yay Lupita!) but I can't pay attention. Boris has me distracted o_O
Lol. S.K. Isn't his smile gorgeous?
DeleteWow, Liya is gorgeous! I'm going to have to remember that face when I'm considering characters. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I think Africa, I think of magic. One day I may be able to visit some of the countries to see the wonders there.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, where are Thandi Newton (Zimbabwe); Sophia Okonedo (Nigeria); Peter Mensah (Ghana)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could stretch and call Burkina FASO the F country... but kinda sorta too late for that, eh? Thanks for the education. Gorgeous collection of actors. This is my first visit here from A to Z... I like to let Twitter Twirl and deliver me some new A to Z blog posters... and this was a definite SCORE!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday and A to Z!
