Happy New Year everyone!
This was a fantastic week.
- I got a lot of work done and maintained my confidence throughout.
- Finished my first round edits for my second novel with Black Opal Books. I call it my jailbird book, but more on that later.
- I saw The Hobbit and wrote a post on it that didn't get the readership it deserves (in my humble opinion), so I'm linking you to it here.
- Optimism abounds about the great things which will happen this year.
- Not so happy about the weight gain, but I'm back on my exercise regime which should take care of that, just as long as I cut back on the chocolate (sigh)
Looks like you've had a great week. A sign of good things to come.
ReplyDeleteI hope so.
DeleteI see we're in the same boat as far as the weight gain goes. It'll be a rough couple of weeks, months for me. So glad you had a good week, and Yay for finishing your first round of edits with BOB.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy. Those edits were rough. The weight loss may be a little rougher, but we can do it.
DeleteThe weight gain is us starting the year with extra goodness, this way our year will be extra special. Do not talk me out of this thought process! lol I have to watch The Hobbit: DoS, cannot wait. Yay for finishing the first round of edits, have a wonderful New Year!
ReplyDeleteLol, S.K. Your theory is fantastic. Happy New Year.
DeleteS.K., your theory is amazing! Definitely don't get rid of too much chocolate, it's a necessity =)
ReplyDeleteGlad you've had a good week, and Happy New Year!
Thanks, Mere. Happy New Year to you, too.
DeleteCongrats on finishing the edits! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI did a happy dance when I finished, Lara.
DeleteCongrats on what you've accomplished this week, and good luck on the exercise regime. I'm glad you're feeling so enthusiastic - attitude is half the battle. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right about attitude, Lexa. Positivity will lead me to good places.
DeleteI agree with you on your blog about the Hobbit. I enjoyed reading it. Not sure what this love/hate relationship we have with chocolate. It seems to be on many celebrations and resolution lists. Awesome Celebrations!
ReplyDeleteNo hate is involved with my relationship with chocolate, only in the calories contained within it.
DeleteYay to first round edits being done! And ah chocolate, so difficult to avoid... ;)
ReplyDeleteI know you can relate about the chocolates, Vikki.
DeleteHappy New Year, dearest friend and sister! You deserve the very best!
ReplyDeleteThanks Celestine. Happy New Year to you too.
