Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.
Soooooo many things to celebrate this week.
1. The Fall into Fantasy Giveaway has started and I'm super duper excited.
2. I'm reading Betrayal's Shadow by KH LeMoyne. S*^t, this woman can write.
3. Celebrated a Muslim holiday on Tuesday. My poor students must think I don't like spending time with them because I raised my hands up in victory when they told me there was a holiday coming up.
4. I showed my friend how to load books onto her Kindle. Nothing like sharing the gift of knowledge to make people spend more of their hard earned cash. But how could I not. Books!
5. I bought apples instead of chocolate yesterday. For those of you who know me, that's a huge deal.
6. Wrote a 2000 word short story that is unlike anything I've ever written before. Now for the editing.
7. Loving life.
Apples? Really? Apples and chocolate go good together.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do, but I chose to take the apples over the chocolate (hence the more healthy choice). lol.
ReplyDeleteYou could dip the apples in chocolate yogurt :) They are all wonderful things to celebrate but I want to read the short story!!!! What's it about???
ReplyDeleteLol. All in good time. It's not a romance. Chocolate yogurt exists?
DeleteDid you finally come over to the dark side and write a spooky story :)
DeleteYou'd be the first to know. I'm not sure I have the ability to stretch myself that far, yet.
DeleteApples instead of chocolate! You are good.
ReplyDeleteI'm patting myself on the back.
DeleteYou have many wonderful things to celebrate, Nana. Amazing that apples won over the chocolate. That's will power for sure. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt was the first time it happened, but I'm hoping it won't be the last. Thanks Deanie.
DeleteDo you know I had to come to the office on the Moslem holiday? (sigh). Talking of short stories, I'm putting finishing touches to mine.
ReplyDeleteYour job didn't treat you well. I'm excited about your short story.
