Debbie Christiana is celebrating two things this month: Halloween
and her birthday. I'm not quite sure which one she's more excited about, but both are
awesome.

In honor of Debbie's favorite month, I'm
giving away a copy of one of her books (winner's choice) along with a $5 Amazon
gift card. One lucky winner gets both prizes.
All you have to do is:
Answer this
one question in the comments section (you don't even have to answer correctly, guesses are accepted, and creativity is even more welcome, written with a cackle).
Who is Debbie Christiana's favorite witch of all time?
The last day to comment will be Wednesday October 23rd.
Debbie will announce the answer along with my randomly chosen winner on her blog, Friday October 25th.

In the meantime don't wait for me to gift you with a copy of one of her fantastic books. Run out (or click on your computer) and buy it.
Time is running out for Armend Zogu. The 250-year old family
curse on his head will claim him on his 30th birthday, the
winter solstice.
Sofia Palmalosi is just the Strega who can save him. A
descendant of a long line of powerful Italian witches, their magic was a gift
bestowed on them by the Goddess Diana.
In order to break the curse, Sofia and Armend must piece
together the sheet music from an old violin sonata that Armend’s ancestor wrote
for his forbidden love.
Together Sofia and Armend embark on a journey from New York to
Sicily and the ancient ruins of Diana’s temple and back to New York while fighting
a battle of wits and magic with a psychopath who wants them both dead and the
curse intact.
If the curse doesn’t kill Armend, breaking it just might.
She’d never met him before…or had she?
The last thing forty-year old Natalia Santagario expected was to be sitting on a Manhattan barstool ogling a man she’s never met, but swears she knows.
He didn’t know her at all…or did he?
The mysterious dark-haired woman at the end of the bar stops twenty-eight year old Marc Tremonti in his tracks. His head assures him she’s a stranger, but his heart tells him otherwise.
Together they embark on an adventure that will change their lives forever.
Their attraction instant and enigmatic, they undergo past life regression and discover that, not only have they spent hundreds of lives together as lovers, Natalia holds the secret to Marc’s puzzling birthmark. But what should have been a joyful reunion is complicated by a kind, albeit confused, almost ex-wife, an unfortunate accident in a taxicab, and a bout of temporary amnesia that threatens to ruin everything. On top of all that, they must contend with a mischievous ghost from their past. What else could possibly go wrong?
Awesome, Nana! Thank you for the birthday giveaway. I can't wait to hear who everyone thinks is my favorite witch! Too much fun and a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Debbie. Even though I'm not eligible, I'd still like a crack at guessing. I'm going to say Elvira.
DeleteHmmm. maybe, Nana - I do have a thing for Elivra :)
DeleteHmm....favorite witch of all time? Seems like I should know this one. My two front-runners are Sofia from Solstice, or the Wicked Witch of the West.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Deb!
You're kind of, sort of close, Liv :)
DeleteHappy birthday to you Debbie! Good luck with the giveaway, and October is a great month. :)
ReplyDeleteFor the witch, I'll guess Samantha from Bewitched. Writer’s Mark
Thank you for the kind birthday wishes, Nancy :) I loved Bewitched when I was a kid, Samantha and her mom, Endora :)
ReplyDeleteClose....
What a perfect month for Debbie Christiana to be born!! Happy Day, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathrina. It's been a good one. Lots of family and friends. Thanks ;)
DeleteWow, lots of celebrate for Debbie this month. Hope your birthday was a great one, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI was going to guess Samantha from Bewitched but see now that isn't right LOL.
Thanks, Julie. October is my favorite month of the year, if you couldn't tell, LOL. I did love Samantha, she's a close 2nd for sure :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Hi Debbie, happy birthday to you! I hope your celebration was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAs for the witch...I'll say Snowhite's Stepmother, The Evil Queen from Once Upon a Time. She's quite a complex character, don't you think?
Good guess, Aneta. She is very complex and I am fond of her, but she's not my favorite, but definitely a runner up :)
DeleteHappy Birthday! I too was thinking Snow White's evil stepmother. She scared me to death as a kid. But since that wicked witch is already taken, I'll go with Maleficent. She has a wonderfully spooky name, at the very least.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, I do love me some Maleficent. She had a great outfit, LOL, but not my all time favorite. There are too many cool witches to choose from :) Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI really have no idea, Nana and Debbie :-) Here is wishing you a wonderful birthday, Debbie
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wishes - I had a wonderful day ;)
DeleteNot even a guess, Celestine. Okay I'll guess for her. Glinda the good witch of the South. She was pretty.
DeleteSo many guesses on those witches and so little time. How about Samantha from Bewitched :-) Nah, she's too tame for you ;-) Happy October, my friend. I know it's definitely your month!
ReplyDeleteTo tame, LOL - She was sweet, but I liked her a lot. Hasn't it been a beautiful October here in CT? We've been so lucky. Thanks Sharon, for stopping by ;)
DeleteI'm guessing me :-)
ReplyDeleteAlso, in your top blurb, I think you left out the word "it" in your last line... "breaking it". I know, I never stop editing you!
Happy birthday from another Deb
Thanks, Deborah - Actually you're in the acknowledgements of SOLSTICE - thank you for all your wonderful help :)
DeleteEditing is good, LOL
I think I know but can't remember their names. From "Sabrina the teenage witch" TV show those two aunts Zelda and Hilda or maybe her black wise cracking cat Salem. But if Liv is close than I guess I'm really hot-cold. Anyhow, happy birthday and do join in on my birthday celebrations a week later.
ReplyDeleteNana, we should talk. How would you like to host me for my birthday on 30th?
I Googled it and got the names of the aunts and cat and the show
DeleteHi Zrinka - Happy soon to be birthday! I used to love to watch Sabrina the Teenage witch with my daughter. The two aunts were hysterical and I did enjoy them :)
DeleteDebbie sure does know how to tease. I just sent you a message, Zrinka. You have me excited.
