Death really shouldn’t be a surprise, but it’s always a shock

I, like most other people in the world, always find it difficult when someone dies. Death is inevitable (unless you’re a Rastafarian, but that’s another story). Life is temporary and it’s supposed to end. My sadness is never for the one who died, because they are moving on to be with God (hopefully), but for those who were left behind to continue on with this life without that person’s presence. It’s sad, but there’s a hope in it because we know that one day we will be reunited with those loved ones.
