My Review
This was a wonderful story with more than enough drama, heat
and cultural references to thrust the reader into a hot romance in Lagos,
Nigeria. Given the gap in Yomi and Emem’s ages, the romance between them seemed
unlikely, making for a great conflict. Who is to argue with love? What is meant
to be will be, but it’s the journey that keeps the reader hooked, which I
totally was.
The hero and heroine had personal issues to clean up in
their lives which made them easier to relate to because they weren’t
perfect.
A fast paced romance that I really enjoyed.
I give this book five piano shaped chocolate bars.
