My Silent New York Night by Lena Hart

The Blurb

Trading the sun for the snow was not my idea of a happy holiday. Sure, I was a native New Yorker, but five years in California had spoiled me. Now I’m back, living with my Nana and all the chaos, commotion, and crazies of this city was a depressing reminder of how I failed to make it big in Hollywood.

Then there’s him—my Russian distraction…

I can’t seem to get this guy out of my mind—or rather, his sexy body can’t seem to get out of my head. He certainly has what it takes to keep me warm this winter, but… You know what? We won’t talk about him… This moment is about me. I came back to follow my dreams and nothing’s going to stop me.

Well, maybe except my new gig where I spend some nights on my hands and knees—who knew cleaning office buildings was such exhausting work! But if New York thinks she’s gonna break me, she doesn’t know me. I’m Celeste Nightingale—a rising star… Or at least I will be, as soon as I land that perfect role…

My Review
Why the heck haven’t I read a Lena Hart romance before? I’ve definitely been missing out. This book was fantastic. For a moment I thought she’d written Celeste based on me. Sassy, intelligent, driven, and more than a little stubborn. The hero was adorable. Such a calm man and I loved that he knew what he wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it.

The story had me laughing out loud and clamping my hand over my mouth to hold in my gasps of shock over Celeste’s more dramatic actions. A wonderful Christmas novella which gave me a taste of Ms. Hart’s incredible writing skills.

I give this book five out of five snowflake shaped chocolate bars.

I purchased my copy from Amazon.

  1. Great review! Celeste has such a great voice in just the blurb, I can only imagine how much fun her character is to read about in an entire novella!
