Celebrate the Small Things

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we are celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki.

This week I'm celebrating coincidences. I have encountered a lot of them this week. No matter how many I had, I still found it freaky weird.

I'd give you an example, but it wouldn't mean as much to you as it did to me. Even when you share a coincidence with someone, one of you is shocked into speechlessness while the other shrugs it off as just another occurrence. That aspect of coincidences is odd too.

Some people say coincidences do not really exist, that everything is intentional in life (I agree). But I have to admit that they are still a surprise, but usually in a good way.

Have you noticed or experienced any coincidences this week?

Head over to the other participants of this blog hop to see what they are celebrating this week.

  1. I don't believe in coincidences, everything happens the way it's supposed to.

But that doesn't when 'the thing' happens we can't be surprised and enjoy it. Maybe that's the point of coincidences - an unexpected joy :)

  2. I think it's about time we rename these occurences. Many people believe that coincidences are viable signs that are showing us the path in life. We notice them on purpose, or they pursposely pop out right in front of our face at the precise moment. When my daughter does something on purpose, my son calls her the PURPOSER. And aren't these 'signs' placed strategically in places we would notice them? On purpose? Let's call them PURPOSERS, shall we? :)

  3. I'm not a faith-ish person, but I totally believe that some things are "meant to be" and sometimes "fate" or whatever gives you a few reminders to pay attention :)
    Happy Friday!

  5. I agree with Debbie, I don't believe in coincidences. And I also love them. I'm very faithful and I believe God has His fingers in these coincidences.

  6. It's funny how often that happens. Like you never hear a certain word, or about a certain thing, then it keeps coming up over and over....

    1. I know. It's been there the whole time and then you suddenly 'notice' it.

  12. All I can say is that sometimes coincidences can be too good to be true
