Prah, Constantine, and Baryeh Review: The Gift by Joanne Clancy

I hope you aren’t surprised that we chose a Christmas story this month. The season is upon us and we wanted to get a jump start on getting into the mood.

My Review

When I started reading this novella I thought I was in for a nice cheery Christmas story. Look at the cover. Nope. The author swerved me in one direction then yanked me in a completely different one.

If I tell you any more I’ll be stepping into the spoiler category which I prefer to stay out of. The story surprised me, in a no traditional good way.

I give this book three out of five Christmas tree shaped chocolate bars.
