Celebrate the small things

Vikki at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author has started a meme where every Friday we post what we're celebrating for the week. Thanks Vikki. It's not too late to sign up if you're interested.

1. Every time I look at myself on BTS eMag I smile. My first emagazine interview ever. I also did a guest post about shower sex and the black woman on Kiru Taye's blog,  an interview on Empi Baryeh's blog, and a spotlight on Shelf Full of Books (a wonderful blogger who allowed me on her blog with a simple request - so nice.)

2. I had a good week of workouts: step aerobics, dancing, jogging (mostly walking but jogging sounds better), and jumping rope. I love exercising.

3. I realized this week how much I have changed back into who I used to like being. Happy, forgiving, and full of love. For the love of life, everyone, if you are stuck in a job you hate, change it so you don't become bitter. Burnout is a b&#@h.

4. I don't really have anything else to celebrate, but I love the number four. Let's celebrate four. Yay four!

25 THINGS I’M WONDERING ABOUT HAPPINESS - Repost

I read this post last week and it stuck with me because I've been thinking about happiness and what it is for some time now.

Chuck Wendig is an insightful man. Be warned that he likes to throw around cuss words and enjoys talking about things in a sexual manner. So with that said, feel free to check out his wonderful thoughts on happiness. He's the first to admit that the's not an expert, so take what resonates with you and leave what you don't like. It will make you think.

I appreciate #9 Happiness Versus Satisfaction, the most because it makes a whole lot of sense. Check out the post here.
