Insecure Writer’s Support Group

A huge thanks to Alex J. Cavanaugh for starting IWSG. If you’d like to be supported as a writer then this group is for you. Click on Alex’s name to join.

I’ll admit it. A to Z has zapped (would have been a great Z word) me of all my blogging energy. Nothing to share with you wonderful people at IWSG, but this little poster of words.

I’m choosing lousy. It makes me remember Leave it to Beaver.

Beaver: Gee Wally, that lousy Eddie Haskel…

I never did understand why Wally was friends with the trouble making brown noser.

Which word are you choosing?

  1. I definitely know what you mean about feeling zapped. :-)

What a great list of words. I already use 'delightful' all the time, so I guess I shouldn't pick that one even though it's a favorite. How about hullaballoo? That one's awesome. Now to find a way to work it into casual conversation. :-)

    1. Lol. It's not a casual word. I'm sure you'll get a few strange looks.

  2. There's so many awesome words there, I don't know what best describes me at the moment. But I keep going back to the word swell. In like, "I'm swell."

  3. I'm with you - it zapped me too. I'm going with skedaddle just because it's a funny word that I don't think I've ever used.

  4. Um, I'll pick peckish, because I am. Goodness, I should go eat something. ;) I'm exhausted too...but maybe that's because of the insomnia or house selling or cleaning or ridiculous # of deadlines that suddenly popped up. (Like seriously, where did those come from?) Here's to getting the fire back, eh?

  5. Cleave makes me think of Leave it to Beaver. It's probably easier to say there wasn't a word I didn't like. Happy IWSG.

  6. Leave it to Beaver! I could never figure out why those guys didn't just dump Eddie Haskel. What a two-faced weasel. :)

    1. I'm with you, Lynda. But they wrote an antagonist we loved to hate. Genius writers.

    1. I knew a pastor who used that word in his sermon. It cracked everyone up.

  9. LOL I think I want Bullaballoo . . . because I'm pretty sure I'm butchering the pronunciation and that's funny. To me. o_0

  11. I remember Alice Cooper being one of Wally's friends. Strange what a person will remember so many years later. :-)

  14. I like scrumptious. Not that it describes me in any way, but right now I'm craving a piece of velvety raspberry cheesecake... Oh my! I think I'll have to go celebrate Mother's Day at the Cheesecake Factory! Have an awesome weekend. :)

  15. It's a more sophisticated way to say yummy. Enjoy the cheesecake.
